DMC-1 is a unique digital music player with state-of-the-art performance, unsurpassed versatility, and is simple to setup and operate.
It can function as a stand-alone file player, without being connected to the internet or network. Connecting to the internet enables hi-res streaming and free internet radio. DMC-1 can also scan your local network for shared music folders. Use stand-alone, WiFi, or Ethernet

Audio Circuit
DMC-1 is a modular design comprised of a complex power supply board, a high performance quad core computer, and a sophisticated digital to analog converter. The audio board is designed around the AKM AK4493 DAC IC with dual differential outputs, precision Crystel femto clocks, and five discrete regulated voltages for the individual analog and digital circuits, yielding state of the art performance.
